Ayomide, I feel so lucky and blessed to have been a part of your life at some point. I wish we had spoken more, I wish we were consistent but life tends to do that sometimes. Before I met you, I didn’t know enough sickle cell warriors to call friends. You and Judith made me feel safe, like I had my own little community. I remember how devastated we were when she passed (God rest her soul). Thank you for being a source of encouragement, someone I continue to look to even though the years had gone by. I pray for you today and everyday because I know God is with you. Thank you for your impact even in your absence. You will always be remembered in loving memories.
